GENERAL
WARRANTY
1. Muotitek.com provides a standard 1 year warranty for all products from
the date of invoice by repairing or replacement except the tray CPU below. Please refer to Warranty Limitations for details.
This warranty shall not extend to any damage, defect, or malfunction caused by
abuse, misuse, or unauthorized modification by the customer. Muotitek.com reserves the right
to refuse service due to any physical damage. This warranty is only provided to
the original Purchaser. It is not transferable to anyone who subsequently
purchases (muotitek.com does not provide services to 3rd parties).
2. There will be a 15%
restocking charge if merchandise that meets manufacturer specifications is
returned for reasons of general dissatisfaction with performance or
incompatibility with hardware or software,
within 15 days from the date of invoice and must be returned in the original
condition as sold. Absolutely no
return for credit after 15 days from the date of invoice, and no cash refund
will be permitted.
3. Muotitek.com
offers a standard ONE YEAR warranty. For products that carry more than one year
warranty by manufacturers, the RMA must be handled directly by the
manufacturer.
4. Manufacturer warranty
will be null and void if products are modified, damaged or otherwise tampered
with, for example, If the outer case is opened or additional optional parts/components
are installed / removed.
5. Repaired or
replacement RMA items carry a warranty for only the remainder of warranty
period from the date of original invoice. Product specifications are subject to
change without notice.
D.O.A. POLICY
1. Any product that proves defective within
15 days from the invoice date shall be deemed D.O.A. (Defective on Arrival),
subject to verification by muotitek.com. Muotitek.com
reserves the right of no replacement or in house credit for all tested
functional merchandise. All functionally DOA items
must be claimed within D.O.A. period to receive a Credit/New Replacement.
Defective items returned subsequently will be repaired or replaced by standard
processing.
2. D.O.A. products will
either be replaced or for in house credit at the current market price within 15
days of issuance of an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
3. D.O.A. products must be
received within seven days once the RMA number is issued, with original
packaging and all accessories. No replacement or in house credit will be made
for incomplete package.
4. No cross shipment allowed for all D.O.A.
products.
RMA POLICY
1. Products that proved defective during
the warranty period will be replaced or repaired by muotitek.com
2. Defective products will
only be tested for the problem
reported. If no specific problem
was reported, only muotitek.com general
testing procedures will be applied.
3. Any products not found
to be defective will be returned to the customer as is, with no replacement
made.
4. Muotitek.com
will not be responsible for the physical damage, due to improper packing, or
incurred during the transportation from the Customer Site to muotitek.com.
Any damage claims against the shipping company are the responsibility of the Customer.
5. If an in house credit
is issued, it is based on the product's current market price. Not the original
Invoice selling price.
RMA PROCEDURES
1. Customer must fill out and fax or
email the muotitek.com RMA requisition form
including the date of purchased, muotitek.com
invoice No., Serial No. and a detailed
description of the problem for the defective products in order to obtain a RMA
No. before returning to muotitek.com.
2. Muotitek.com
will issue an RMA number within 2 business days of receipt of the completed
requisition form, which will be Valid only for 15 days from the date issued.
And No RMA number will be issued for any incomplete requisition form.
3. All returned
items must be in proper packaging. All shipments must include an authorized RMA
form. The RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the box. Muotitek.com reserves the right to refuse any
shipment that is incorrectly labeled or without a valid RMA number. Any
non-defective accessory should not be sent back with the defective products for
repair or replacement. Muotitek.com is not
responsible for any missing parts.
4. Customer is responsible for the
freight charges from their location to muotitek.com. Muotitek.com
will pay the freight when returning repaired or replaced goods (muotitek.com will
return repaired or replaced goods by the same means used by the customer),
except for products not purchased from muotitek.com or items out of
warranty. Muotitek.com
is NOT responsible on RMA items that arrive damaged during transit.
5. Muotitek.com is NOT responsible for the integrity of the data
information on storage products such as hard disk drives, or tape drives.
6. No credit or refund on CPU products, notebooks, assembled systems,
opened software, special ordered items, shipping charges, freight insurance,
custom charges or labor will be issued.
7. Credit processing time will be 5 business days. Please allow 4 weeks to
mail the refund check after the receipt of goods. Purchaser's muotitek.com account must be current and have all checks cleared for
credit processing.
8. A minimum 15% restocking fee will be applied for all returns of
Non-Defective Items. (Items must be in original sealed carton in re-sellable
condition)
9. In the case of EOL (non replaceable items) muotitek.com reserves the right to give only partial credit based on
whichever is less: the market price or an amount equal to the pro-ration of age
as compared to the purchase price.
WARRANTY LIMITATIONS
The manufacturer's warranty limitations apply to all
products sold by muotitek.com. Muotitek.com. reserves the
right to repair or replace items with those of equivalent specifications.
Please refer to the following list for products that are not included in the 12
months standard warranty.
